| #6 The UAW leadership endorses Harris, but not the Rank and File is another story. The workers likely know the UAW leadership is ranking big $$$$ for the endorsement, and couldn't care less what happens to the rank and file in the long run. UAW Membership has decline just about every year since 1979. In 2022 UAW membership was just 391,000 active and 580,000 retired. A few backdoor anonymous polls of UAW workers political leanings, show about 64% lean (D) or less than 642k votes Nowhere near the political power it once had. |
