| Explosion reported near ship off coast of Yemen | |

| [GEO.TV] The UK’s maritime security agency has issued an incident alert following an explosion near a vessel travelling 63 nautical miles (about 116km) southwest of Yemen’s port city of Hodeidah. According to the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) alert, the crew and vessel, which was not named, are reported to be safe and are continuing on to their next port of call.
