| Ford kills electric SUV as EV division is on pace to lose $5.5 billion this year |

| [BLAZE] Ford reportedly lost $100,000 for every electric car it delivered in the first quarter of 2024. Ford Motor Company announced that it is recalibrating its EV strategy over concerns about profitability, including scrapping an electric SUV. Ford is canceling plans to manufacture a large, three-row electric SUV. Ford chief executive officer Jim Farley said, "We loved our three-row crossover and I was so excited to show everyone the work we did. But there was just no way it would ever meet our criteria of being profitable." |

| #6 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Concrete_pump I suppose burying a EV Fire would look like a Chernobyl solution, so bad PR. *many battery fires do not require oxygen to continue reacting. What has to be considered when discussing a switch-out with IC vehicles. Why there is a movement EVs should have a placard, just the transport vehicles must do when transporting said batteries. |

| #3 Looks like normal turnout gear, so that shit smoke is getting all over their skin and into the gear. Get a remote monitor to contain the fire so your people can be mostly out of the haze, and start dumping sand or concrete on it. |
