Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding back Russian offensive in eastern and southern Ukraine.
Ukrainian troops repelled 28 attacks in the Pokrovsk direction in the areas of seven settlements. Eight battles are still ongoing.
Since the beginning of the current day, 109 combat clashes have occurred on the front in 11 directions. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Friday, August 30.
Thus, in the Kharkov direction , the enemy twice stormed the defensive lines near Pletnevka and Volchansk. One attack continues.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy organized 18 offensive actions near Sinkovka, Kolesnikovka, Novoosinovoye, Lozovaya, Andreyevka, Stelmakhovka. Six attacks are ongoing.
