The Kurakhovsky direction has seen the greatest number of clashes. The invaders have attempted to advance 22 times near five populated areas.
Since the beginning of the day, 88 combat clashes have occurred on the front in nine directions. Russian aggressors are most active in the Kurakhovsky direction, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in a report as of 16:00 on Tuesday, September 17.
Thus, the enemy attacked positions in the Kupyansk direction near Sinkovka, Novoosinove and in the direction of Lozovaya six times . One combat clash continues in the area of ​​Kruglyakovka.
In the Liman direction, the Russians organized eight assaults in the areas of Cherneshchyna, Druzhelyubovka, Makeyevka, and Torskoye. Two of them are still ongoing.
In the Seversky direction, the enemy attacked near Verkhnekamenskoye and Vyemka. Both attacks were repelled.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the invaders carried out five assaults near Chasy Yaru, Stupochki and Kleshchyivka. One combat clash is still ongoing in the area of ​​Belaya Gora.
In the Toretsk direction, seven enemy attacks occurred near the settlements of Toretsk and Nelipovka. Five combat clashes have already been completed.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 19 assaults in the areas of Grodovka, Novotoretskoye, Orlovka, Nikolaevka, Ukrainsk and attacked in the direction of Zelenoye Pole. The defense forces repelled 14 attacks, five battles are still ongoing.
The Kurakhovsky direction has the largest number of clashes. The invaders tried to advance 22 times near Tsukurino, Zhelanny Pervy, Gornyak, Georgievka and Konstantinovka. Six clashes have not yet ended.
In the Vremevsky direction, the invaders attacked six times in the direction of Ugledar and Yekaterinovka. Three attacks are still ongoing.
Two enemy attacks were repelled in the Dnieper direction .
Let us recall that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine estimates Russia's losses at almost 636,000 people since the beginning of the war. In just one day on September 16, more than a thousand Russians were killed and wounded at the front.
