[Korrespondent] Ukrainian Armed Forces Contain Russian Attacks in Eastern and Southern Ukraine.
Russian troops are again attacking mostly in the Pokrovsky direction, where 18 assaults have been repelled since the beginning of the day.
Since the beginning of the current day, 89 attacks by Russian troops have occurred on the front. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 16:00 on Monday, September 23.
Thus, in the Kharkov direction, the enemy once stormed Ukrainian positions in the Liptsy area.
In the Kupyansk direction, the Russians carried out four assaults near Glushkovka and Stelmakhovka.
In the Liman direction, enemy units continued their attacks in the areas of the settlements of Cherneshchina, Druzhelyubovka, Nevskoye, Makeyevka, Dibrova, Torskoye. Six assaults were repelled, and six more battles are ongoing.
In the Seversky direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully repelled one attack near Fedorovka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the invaders carried out four attacks near Kalinovka, Kleshchivka, Belaya Gora and Predtechino. The clashes continue near the latter.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 13 attacks near Dachnoye, Toretsk and Nelipovka. Five attacks were stopped, seven more clashes are continuing.
In the Pokrovsky direction, the occupiers made 18 attempts to attack our defenders in the areas of Vozdvizhenka, Grodovka, Orlovka and Marinovka. All assaults were repelled.
In the Kurakhovsky direction, 12 armed clashes occurred in the areas of Tsukurino, Georgievka, Konstantinovka and Katerinovka. Four battles are still ongoing.
In the Vremevsky direction, the Russians launched an offensive four times near Ugledar and Pavlovka, near which a battle is currently taking place.
In the Orekhov direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attacked near Novoandreyevka.
Two enemy attacks were repelled in the Dnieper direction.
Let us recall that on September 22, Russian losses exceeded 1,300 people in one day. In total, since the beginning of the war, Russia has lost more than 640 thousand soldiers.
