| #9 Black bears are hungry too. They are smaller than Grizzly bears but they're more common here in the east. We're in NH and have one in the neighborhood, my wife chases him away with an air horn when he's on the deck. She don't take no $hit from no one. |

| #6 IIRC Timothy Treadwell was killed by a sub-monstrous sickly skinny bear who was desperate to acquire the reserves for hibernation. A bear who has nothing to lose is more dangerous than a fat content one. |
