[ColonelCassad] The enemy reports that the commander of the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Brigade Commander Vinnik, who was previously removed from his post, was dismissed from the army. He was accused of the failure of the defense of Ugledar due to the collapse of the flanks of the group defending the city.
Vinnik is effectively being made the scapegoat for Zelensky and Syrsky's decisions to transfer reserves to the Kursk and Krasnoarmeysk directions, including from the Ugledar direction, which weakened the Ukrainian Armed Forces group and created the preconditions for a successful offensive by the Russian Armed Forces. Vinnik may have been guilty of specific tactical miscalculations, but of course the culprits of the operational crisis in this area are not in Ugledar, but in Kiev.
They will try to make Vinnik the scapegoat for the upcoming surrender of Ugledar. Despite the fact that organized resistance in the city remains, attempts have already been made by small groups to leave through the plantings in the direction of Bogoyavlenka.
Since there is no cauldron yet (despite the hasty statements of some sources on this matter), the bottleneck to the north of Ugledar remains and even equipment can pass through there. Yes, strikes are being carried out on the bottleneck, but it is too early to talk about a complete cessation of communication between the Ugledar garrison and the rest of the enemy group. The enemy obviously intends to prolong the resistance as much as possible, but has already resigned itself to the fact that Ugledar will be lost in the near future.
