An eviction notice was filed against Henyard and her boyfriend, Kamal Woods, in Cook County Court. They are said to owe over $3,300 in rent payments for their home on the 14600 block of South Harvard. The document also alleges that Henyard, 41, has refused to have the property inspected. The mayor's attorney told FOX32 that this information is untrue and that the couple has no outstanding rent payments. This controversy comes after Henyard threw an $85,000 party for her town earlier this month even though she has been cut off from spending by the state for sinking her town into debt.
