The Ukrainian Armed Forces are in control of the situation and are exhausting the enemy along the entire line of combat engagement and in the rear.
Since the beginning of the current day, 74 combat clashes have occurred on the front. Russian invaders are actively operating in the Pokrovsky, Kurakhovsky, Kupyansky and Limansky directions. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in an operational summary as of 16:00 on Tuesday, October 1.
Thus, in the Kharkov direction, there were two enemy attacks in the areas of Volchansk and Staritsa. Fighting is currently ongoing there.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy has been trying to advance towards the Ukrainian Armed Forces positions in the areas of 10 settlements throughout the day. Nine enemy attacks are ongoing near Sinkovka, Novoosinove, Kurelovka, Novoselovka, Kolesnikovka and Stelmakhovka. A total of 17 combat clashes have been recorded in the direction.
In the Liman direction, the aggressor has increased the number of attacks to 10. Fighting is taking place near Grekovka, Nevsky, Novosadovo and in the Serebryansky forest.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to repel attacks near Chasy Yar and Grigoryevka. The offensive in the direction of Stupochki has already been repelled.
In the Toretsk direction, seven assaults took place in the areas of Toretsk and Shcherbinovka. Two combat clashes are still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsky direction, battles of varying intensity have begun 14 times. They are still ongoing in two locations in the Lisovka and Selidovo areas.
Fighting continues in the Kurakhovsky direction. Near Tsukurino, Gornyak, Georgievka, Konstantinovka and Katerinovka, 17 clashes occurred during the day. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are currently repelling five assaults.
In the Orekhov direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attacked three times in the area of ​​Malye Shcherbaki and Novodanilovka.
"In other areas, there have been no significant changes in the situation. Ukrainian troops are in control of the situation and are exhausting the enemy along the entire line of combat engagement and in the rear," the statement said.
Let us recall that in the course of 24 hours on September 30, Russia lost about 1,400 soldiers killed and wounded at the front. The total number of losses of the aggressor country is approaching 660 thousand.
