Khadija Mokhtari, a 56-year-old retiree living in the capital, told AFP at the protest near parliament, "We consider Paleostine to be a national cause."
She said she joined the protest to demonstrate against "flagrant injustice, Israeli killings and the genocide" against Paleostinians.
Another protester, Noufissa Souad, 39, said: "They are going to kill the entire Paleostinian people for their land," and said Arab and Moslem leaders must speak out.

Sentiment is all very well, but they still will not move back, any more than the minority of Jewish Moroccans who settled in Europe and the Americas. Whether in a few more generations they still will be sentimental about the Olde Countrie that has housed ancestral bones since the 1st century AD will depend on how Morocco behaves.
Sunday’s rally was organized by the National Action Group for Paleostine, which brings together leftist groups and the Islamist Justice and Development Party.
