Elon Musk works another miracle as Lilliputian progs snipe |
2024-10-16 |
![]() The immigrant genius stunned the world Sunday as his SpaceX landed a reusable Starship booster back on the launchpad. This is a huge tech advance, bringing launch costs down by a factor of ten and advancing space exploration and exploitation by decades. Meanwhile, ...back at the shootout, Butch shot Ike through the elbow. Take that, Ike!he yelled...... the California Coastal Commission just rejected the Space Force's request for more frequent SpaceX launches on the Golden State's Central Coast by a vote of six to four, with some of the ''nays'' specifically citing Musk's political speech. This, by the way, follows the Biden Justice Department's suit against SpaceX for allegedly discriminating against asylum seekers in hiring, as well as the Biden Federal Communications Commission canceling a $900 million contract with Musk's Starlink to provide rural high-speed internet. (Then again, Musk did it for free, at least temporarily, to help Hurricane Helene victims.) Ayn Rand must be spinning in her grave... or laughing at how so-called "progressives" spurn actual progress when driven by a truly independent mind. Meanwhile, ...back at the shootout, Butch shot Ike through the elbow. Take that, Ike!he yelled...... bet on Musk to beat the Lilliputians: Expect him to launch the first manned mission to Mars from Texas, which has the good sense to welcome him and all his businesses. |

#3 The only thing they're really protecting is themselves. They're angry at Musk for not throwing his intellect and wealth behind their idiot Kamala, and they're abusing their power to punish him. Now, Musk is vowing to sue the commission for violating his First Amendment rights, claiming his words have nothing to do with his rocket launches, like Saturday's record breaker. |

#2 SpaceX should tell the Air Force "No further launches from Vandenburg. At all." |

#1 Rand would expect nothing less from them. Or from him. "Judge and prepare to be judged." |
