[TH and Fox News reports] Top Hamas leader and October 7 mastermind Yahya Sinwar is dead. The news was reported by Israeli media outlets Thursday morning and appeared to be confirmed by Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant in a cryptic tweet.

According to reports, U.S. officials have been notified by the Israeli Defense Forces that they are in possession of Sinwar's body and he was targeted in an airstrike Thursday.

Prior to his planning of the October 7, 2023 attacks, Sinwar was graciously and mercifully treated for a brain tumor in Israel. In 2011, he was released in a prisoner exchange after spending 22-years behind bars for terrorism.

The latest elimination of Sinwar comes after weeks of successful targeting by the IDF and other Israeli agencies of Iran's top terrorists, including the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut.

Sky News Arabia published a report shortly after, quoting a security official as saying that his death is confirmed.

Both are true, Anon1. Iran also finances Palestinian Islamic Jihad, another Sunni jihadi group in Gaza. They have a long-held plan for obliterating Israelby a pincer movement —10,000+ rockets and Sunni Hamas/Islamic Jihad jihadis bursting east from Gaza simultaneously with an uprising in the West Bank, and 150,000 missiles and Hezbollah Shiite jihadis heading west from Lebanon, followed by the big missiles from Iran — including the threat of nuclear missiles as soon as their uranium gas is concentrated enough to do whatever it is they do to make a bomb core. But they jumped the gun once in the West Bank — kidnapping a trio of school boys, and by the time the manhunt found the bad guys, momentum was lost. Twice Hamas blew it — the first time shooting off their stock of rockets to no avail, the second time on 10/7.

So Iran has spent an awful lot of money training, arming,and supporting the salaries of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad in Gaza and presumably others in the West Bank, plus the claimed 100,000 soldiers of Hezbollah, and they’ve annoyed Israel but aren’t anywhere close to their goal of destroying Israel.

The death of Sinwar is great
The media lies are not great and are a bad sign of misdirecting the public so they can end the war on Gaza before the problem is addressed

Those muslim arabs in Gaza must be resettled in qatar, egypt and jordan or else we will only be fighting this same Muslim Brotherhood in 15 years.

One generatiom is all it takes because without ripping out the Muslim Brotherhood then all you have done is destroy a replaceable cog in the system

Sinwar falls but others are rising. Until you defeat the Muslim Brotherhood and Qatar

And how can you do that if the subject is changed to Iran before the job is done?

FM Katz becomes first Israeli official to confirm Sinwar’s death, in message to foreign counterparts

In a message to dozens of foreign ministers around the world, Foreign Minister Israel Katz confirms that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was killed, becoming the first Israeli official to do so on the record.

“The mass murderer Yahya Sinwar, who is responsible for the massacre and atrocities of October 7, was killed today by IDF soldiers,” says Katz, according to his office.

“This is a great military and moral achievement for Israel and a victory for the entire free world against the evil axis of radical Islam led by Iran,” he continues.

Katz says the killing “creates a possibility” for getting the hostages out immediately and for creating a Gaza free of Hamas and Iranian control.

“Israel needs your support and assistance now more than ever to advance these important goals together,” Katz finishes.

Dental and orthodontic experts confirmed that the body was Sinwar’s according to the Jerusalem Post.

Army Radio reported that one of the two terrorists found near the body was that of the leader of Hamas’s Khan Yunis brigade, who was known to be close to Sinwar.)

According to reports circulating on social media, it appeared that soldiers were simply carrying out a routine attack on a building in which three terrorists had taken cover. They were shocked to discover who one of them might be.

Some speculated that with Sinwar dead, it may be easier to achieve a hostage deal, since he was a main obstacle.
