[Korrespondent] Ukrainian Armed Forces Contain Russian Attacks in Eastern and Southern Ukraine.
The most tense situation is in the Kurakhovsky direction. So far, fighting continues in 21 locations.
Since the beginning of the current day, 99 combat clashes have occurred on the front. The hottest ones are now in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhovsky directions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in a report as of 16:00 on Wednesday, November 6.
Thus, in the Kharkov direction, Russian invaders stormed the positions of Ukrainian units in the Staritsa area. At present, all attacks have been repelled.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy advanced six times in the areas of the settlements of Kucherivka, Petrovpavlovka and Kruglyakovka, where they received a worthy rebuff.
In the Liman direction, the Russians are trying to advance near Druzhelyubovka, Grekovka, Torskoye and Terny. Seven armed clashes have occurred, two are still ongoing.
In the Seversky direction, two combat clashes continue near Belogorovka. One attack has already been repelled.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the invaders once stormed near Kleshchievka.
In the Toretsk direction, the number of enemy attacks has increased to four - near Toretsk, Dilievka and Shcherbinovka. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have repelled two attacks, and two more are ongoing.
In the Pokrovsky direction, the aggressors carried out 24 attacks in the areas of Mirolyubovka, Promin, Grigoryevka, Selidovo and Novoalekseyevka. At the moment, 19 enemy assaults have been stopped, five combat clashes are ongoing.
The situation is also tense in the Kurakhovsky direction. There, the Russians attacked 39 times near Ilyinka, Kremennaya Balka, Novoselidovka, Novodmitrovka, Maksimilyanovka, Antonovka and Katerinovka. Currently, fighting continues in 21 locations.
In the Vremevsky direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled two attacks in the areas of Trudovoye and Maksimovka. Four clashes continue near Trudovoye.
In the Orekhov direction, our defenders are repelling an assault in Novoandreyevka.
In the Dnieper direction the enemy attacked twice unsuccessfully.
Let us recall that in one day on November 5, the Ukrainian Armed Forces "minus" more than 1,200 occupiers. The total losses of the Russian Federation since the beginning of the war have already exceeded 700 thousand people.
