#4 Many years ago, I heard that Russian sailors on nuclear submarines called their extra pay for submarine duty "childlessness pay". Why? Because many of them were bald due to radiation exposure. Unless the Chinese are VERY careful about nuclear safety, the will end up with the same problem with their carrier and other nuclear powered ships. |

#3 Making a nuclear reactor for an aircraft carrier isn't that hard. Making that can generate enough power for all systems while being safe for the operators and personnel is the hard part. |
