2024-12-16 |
[NAHARNET] Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem![]() ... the Grand Vizier of the Hezbullies... said on Saturday that Syria's new rulers, who ousted the Lebanese gang's ally Bashir al-Assad, should not recognize neighboring Israel or establish ties with it. Good idea, Naim. Give those stinkards a good, hard warnin’. "We hope that this new party in power will see Israel as an enemy and not normalize relations with it," Qassem said in a televised speech, his first public remarks since Islamist-led rebels toppled Assad following an offensive launched on November 27, the same day that a ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah took effect. Qassem admitted that his group can no longer be supplied militarily through Syria. "Hezbollah lost a military supply line via Syria," Qassem said in a televised address in which he added that "the resistance must adapt to the circumstances." |
