| [GEO.TV] Israeli military Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi has said that he has just returned from the Gaza Strip, where Israeli forces have begun ''operational preparations'' for implementing the ceasefire agreement, reported Al Jazeera. Issuing a statement, he said Israeli forces had killed ''numerous'' Palestinian fighters in Beit Hanoon over the past month, but had also suffered ''many casualties recently''.
