The RSF has repeatedly shelled neighbourhoods, markets, and the Karari hospital in northern Omdurman from its positions in western Omdurman, resulting in the deaths of dozens of civilians.
''The rebel militia launched an artillery attack on Block 56 in Karari locality, which led to the deaths of six members of one family, including four children aged between 3 and 8 years old,'' the Khartoum State Ministry of Health said in a statement.
The shelling also left three people injured with varying degrees of wounds from shrapnel, the statement added.
Fath Alrahman Mohammed al-Amin, the Director-General of the Khartoum State Ministry of Health and the minister-designate, strongly condemned the ongoing and systematic targeting of unarmed civilians in their homes in al-Karari locality with heavy weapons, in blatant violation of humanitarian and international laws.
