[Regnum] The Hezbollah group will continue to follow the path of the movement's slain Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah. This was stated by the current head of Hezbollah, Naim Qassem.
"We will maintain trust and continue on this path, we will maintain your will. You are still with us: your path and struggle live within us. I am loyal to the legacy of Nasrallah. We will not accept being killed and occupied while we watch," he said in a televised speech broadcast at the mass funeral, as reported by The Guardian.

Earlier, at the moment when Nasrallah's funeral began, four IDF fighter jets flew over Beirut at low altitude. It is noted that the situation resembled a simulated air raid on Beirut. This happened at the moment when the coffins with the bodies of Nasrallah and the former chairman of the movement's executive council, Hashem Safi al-Din, were delivered to the stadium where the ceremony began. At that moment, tens of thousands of people were heading to the site of the ceremony.
Also on February 23, the Lebanese NNA news agency reported that Israeli aircraft struck targets in eastern and southern Lebanon at the time of Nasrallah's funeral. The raids targeted several areas on the outskirts of Budaia in the Bekaa in eastern Lebanon and Al-Baysariyeh in southern Lebanon.
As reported by Regnum, Nasrallah was killed in an IDF strike on Hezbollah headquarters in Beirut on September 27. Safi al-Din was appointed head of Hezbollah. The IDF announced his elimination on October 22. Sheikh Qassem was elected as the movement's new leader.
