A third of Israelis experienced mental distress over the past year, a 9% increase from 2021, according to the recently published results of a survey by the Jerusalem-based Myers-JDC-Brookdale Institute.

Further, 80% of respondents attributed their mental distress in 2024 to the Israel-Hamas War, the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas terrorists.

When evaluating the medical assistance provided by their health maintenance organization (HMO), 19% reported that they received professional help.
Being in a vicious, existential war is tough. Fighting it while the Biden-Harris administration knifes you in the back repeatedly while passive-aggressively whipping up Jew-hate at home and around the world makes it harder. That a portion of the nation is functionally siding with the enemy while posturing self-righteously as Israeli patriots on one side, while many of the Haredi will only support the government if it gives them lavish welfare support because they consider themselves too holy to either work or fight for the country, is yet another stressor.

Suck it up, win the wars, spank the far left protesters and the Haredi leeches, and get on with things. Biden is out, Trump is in, the money flow to the protesters is at least reduced — this is your dreamed of window of opportunity, guys.
