[Korrespondent] The defense forces are holding back enemy assaults, the enemy is suffering significant losses - today 227 occupiers have been neutralized in the Pokrovsky direction, 119 of them irrevocably.
Ukrainian defenders continue to resolutely rebuff the enemy's attempts to advance deep into our territory, inflicting effective fire damage on him, exhausting him along the entire front line. In total, 118 combat clashes have occurred since the beginning of this day. This was reported in the General Staff report on Sunday, March 23.
The Russian invaders carried out 59 air strikes, using 74 KABs. In addition, the Russians used 1,041 kamikaze drones to destroy the positions of our troops and populated areas, and carried out 4,792 attacks.
In the Kharkov direction today the enemy attacked once in the direction of Volchansk.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy carried out four assaults on the positions of our defenders in the areas of Zagrizovoye, Petropavlovka and Boguslavka. One combat clash is currently ongoing.
In the Liman direction, since the beginning of the day, Russian invaders have attacked Ukrainian positions 11 times near the settlement of Yampolovka, in the directions of Novoye, Novomykhaylovka and Zelenaya Dolina. Ukrainian defenders have successfully stopped all enemy attacks.
The defense forces stopped five offensive actions of the invaders near Belogorovka, in the direction of Ivano-Daryevka and Verkhnekamyansky in the Seversky direction.
In the Kramatorsk direction, two armed clashes have currently been recorded near Orekhovo-Vasilovka and Chasovy Yar; both attacks have been stopped by Ukrainian soldiers.
In the Toretsk direction, the Russians attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 17 times. The occupiers concentrated their main offensive efforts in the areas of the settlements of Toretsk, Shcherbinovka and in the direction of Dilievka. All attacks were successfully repelled by the Defense Forces.
Since the beginning of this day, the Russians have attempted to break through our defenses 50 times in the Pokrovsk direction near the settlements of Panteleimonovka, Vodyanoye Vtoroy, Elizavetovka, Lysovka, Andreyevka, Kotlin, Uspenovka, Bogdanovka and in the direction of Sergeyevka; seven combat clashes have continued to this day. Pokrovsk, Aleksandropol, Novaya Poltavka, Malinovka and Grodovka were subjected to air strikes.

In the Novopavlovsk direction, Ukrainian units stopped seven enemy assaults on our troops' positions near the settlements of Konstantinopol and Razliv; another enemy attack is still ongoing.
In the Gulyaipole direction, the enemy was repulsed three times, trying to advance near Novopol and Novosyolka. Uncontrolled missiles attacked the areas of the settlements of Gulyaipole, Novodarovka, Novosyolka and Zheleznodorozhnoye, and Zelenoye Pole was hit by KAB strikes.
In the Orekhovo direction, the settlement of Malaya Tokmachka was subjected to an air strike.
The enemy did not conduct active offensive operations in the Dnieper direction.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct an operation in the Kursk direction , where the enemy carried out 17 assaults on Ukrainian units' positions in 24 hours. The enemy carried out ten air strikes, dropping 11 guided bombs, and carried out 266 artillery attacks, five of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.
While in other areas the situation has not undergone any significant changes.
Today, it is worth noting the soldiers of the 102nd separate territorial defense brigade and the 32nd separate artillery brigade, who are effectively destroying the enemy, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment.
We remind you that the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 1,470 Russian occupiers in one day . The total combat losses of the Russian troops in the war against Ukraine from February 24, 2022 to March 23, 2025 amount to about 903,480 people.
