[Korrespondent] The Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding back Russian attacks in the east and south of Ukraine.
The Russian aggressors are most active in the Pokrovsky direction. There are battles in the areas of 13 settlements.
Since the beginning of the current day, 159 combat clashes have occurred on the front. Russian invaders are trying to actively advance in four directions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in an operational report as of 16:00 on Thursday, March 27.
Thus, in the Kharkov direction, there were four assaults by the invaders towards Volchansk.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy stormed the positions of Ukrainian units 25 times in the areas of Stepova Novoselivka, Zagrizove and in the directions of Petropavlovka, Peschanoye, Novaya Kruglyakovka, Boguslavka; 19 combat clashes are ongoing.
In the Liman direction today the aggressor attacked 27 times in the areas of the settlements of Nadiya, Kolodyazi, Mirnoye, Yampolovka and in the directions of Novosergeevka, Novoye, Olgievka, Dronovka, Grigoryevka. Currently 10 armed clashes are ongoing.
In the Seversky direction, the enemy carried out three offensive actions near the settlements of Belogorovka and Verkhnekamenskoye.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Defense Forces repelled two enemy attempts to advance near Chasovy Yar, Predtechino, and two more attacks are ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked our troops' positions 21 times in the areas of Krymskoye, Ozeryanovka, Kurdyumovka, Toretsk and in the directions of Dilievka, Leonidovka, Shcherbinovka. Three combat clashes are still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsky direction, the Russians organized 41 assaults in the areas of the settlements of Panteleimonovka, Aleksandropol, Vodyanoye Vtoroy, Yelizavetovka, Lysovka, Sukhoi Yar, Kotlinoye, Udachnoye, Uspenovka, Preobrazhenka, Andreyevka and in the directions of Malinovka and Novoaleksandrovka. Eight clashes are still ongoing.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, our defenders are repelling 13 enemy attacks in the areas of the populated areas of Konstantinopol, Razliv, Skudnoe, Dneproenergiya and Burlatskoe.
In the Gulyai-Polye direction, the enemy carried out eight assaults in the areas of the settlements of Privilnoye, Novosyolka and in the direction of Volnoye Pole.
Four enemy attacks were successfully stopped in the Orekhov direction . The enemy tried to advance in the direction of the settlements of Shcherbaki, Lobkovoye and Kamyanskoye.
Eight military clashes took place in the Kursk direction , one of which is still ongoing.
We remind you that on March 26, 224 combat clashes occurred on the front . At the same time, the Russian army lost almost 1,700 fighters killed and wounded. The total losses of the aggressor country Russia are approaching 1 million people.
