[Korrespondent] Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding back Russian offensive in southern and eastern Ukraine.
The largest number of battles were recorded in the Pokrovsky direction, where the Russians organized dozens of assaults in the areas of 15 settlements.
Since the beginning of the current day, 109 combat clashes have occurred on the front. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in an operational report as of 16:00 on Monday, March 31.
Thus, in the Kharkov direction, the Russian invaders carried out one unsuccessful attack in the Volchansk region.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy carried out four attacks towards Peschanoye and nearby Zagrizovoye, Stepova Novoselivka. One combat clash continues.
In the Liman direction, the Russians attacked 14 times near Nadezhda, Dibrova, Kolodtsy, in the directions of Novoye, Serebryanka, Torskoye, Zelenaya Dolina and Novomikhaylovka. Six battles are still ongoing.
In the Seversky direction, our defenders repelled two attacks near Belogorovka and Ivano-Daryevka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, four attempts by the occupiers to advance forward in the area of ​​Chasovy Yar and in the direction of Predtechino have been stopped. Two more attacks are ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked 10 times in the Toretsk area. Four combat clashes continue.
In the Pokrovsky direction, the Russians organized 36 assaults in the areas of the settlements of Alexandropol, Elizavetovka, Lysovka, Zelenoe, Shevchenko, Kotlinoe, Sergeyevka, Novosergeevka, Novoaleksandrovka, Uspenovka, Serebryanoye, Kotlyarovka, Bogdanovka, Andreyevka and Alekseyevka. Eight battles are still ongoing.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the enemy attacked six times near Constantinople, Burlatskoye, Dneproenergiya and in the direction of Razliv. Four combat clashes are still ongoing.
In the Gulyai-Polye direction, the enemy carried out eight attacks near Novoselka, Privilnoye and in the direction of Volnoye Pole, Novopol.
In the Orekhov direction, the enemy attacked the Ukrainian Armed Forces positions seven times in the directions of the settlements of Malye Shcherbaki, Lobkovoe, Shcherbaki, Kamenskoye and Novodanilovka. Two combat clashes are still ongoing.
In the Dnieper direction the enemy carried out one offensive action. It was not successful.
In the Kursk region, our defenders repelled nine attacks by the Russians, and five more military clashes are still ongoing.
We remind you that on March 30, 171 combat clashes took place on the front in 24 hours. The Russian army lost more than 1,200 soldiers killed and wounded. The total losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the war are approaching 1 million people.
