[GEO.TV] The Israeli military has announced that it has begun a large military offensive against Nablus, specifically, the Balata refugee camp, reported Al Jazeera.

#2  Balata Refugee Camp was founded in 1950. It was established by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) to house refugees displaced during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. Initially intended as a temporary solution, Balata has become the largest UNRWA-administered refugee camp in the West Bank.
