She's dead now. So [snif!] sad!The incident unfolded around 2:30 a.m. as state troopers arrived at a home on Forrest Drive in the Orange County town of Deerpark, in upstate New York near the Pennsylvania border.

Officers found a man on the front porch who told them a woman inside the home had a knife and a gun, and had stabbed him in the stomach.
"She stabbed you?"
"Yeah. Wanna see?"
"Ew! Guts!"
When the woman, 69, emerged minutes later, she appeared to point a black handgun at cops — and two of them opened fire, state police said.
It appeared the police shot back.
The woman, who has not been publicly identified, was taken to Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis and later died.
She appears to be dead.
The man's non-life-threatening injuries were treated at the scene, authorities said.
"Help him... uhhh... stuff his guts back in, Murphy!"
