[Regnum] A G2 magnetic storm will hit the Earth on April 16. This was reported on April 14 by the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Space Research Institute and the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics.
"According to scientists' forecasts, the geomagnetic background will change sharply around 15:00. The space storm will reach the G2 level, which corresponds to the average level," the report says.

Scientists added that closer to nighttime the storm will subside to the G1 level and gradually end.
According to experts, on April 17 the geomagnetic background will again increase, but will not reach storm levels.
Earlier, on April 5, a magnetic storm was also recorded on Earth. The level of disturbances of the geomagnetic field, reflecting the power of the storm, reached 5.67 units. This is higher than the weak level, but slightly below average.
