[MTExpress] Students of Wood River High School’s Residential Construction Academy build a home on Monday at the high school campus. According to the Blaine County School District, the construction program—taught by Ian Blacker, pictured in the center of the image with sophomores Tristan Ballis (white hat) and Octavio Hurtado Garcia (blue hat)—"enables students to learn and master a wide variety of construction methods and techniques, from rough framing to cabinetmaking and intricate woodworking." The home built by the students will ultimately be offered for sale and moved offsite by the buyer. |
