UFC Fighter Ahmad Hasanzada arrested on child abuse charges in California
2025-04-27
[KhaamaPress] UFC fighter Ahmad Hasanzada was arrested in Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, on serious charges of child sexual abuse, sparking widespread shock and concern.

A court in California has arrested Afghan UFC fighter Ahmad Hasanzada on charges of committing sexual acts against a child under the age of 14, a serious criminal offense in the United States.
Bringing the culture with him from the Olde Countrie — back home she’d already be grandmother.
According to AG Fight, the 28-year-old athlete was taken into custody last week in Sacramento. The charges carry greater legal weight due to the more than 10-year age gap between Hasanzada and the minor victim.

Initially held without bail, Hasanzada was later granted conditional release after the court set bail at $400,000. Despite the bail ruling, he remains in jug at the main Sacramento County Jail.

Hasanzada rose to prominence after winning a spot on Dana White’s Contender Series, which led to a contract with the UFC. He was scheduled to make his official UFC debut on April 26 in Kansas City.

So far, neither the UFC organization nor Hasanzada’s training team, Team Alpha Male, has issued any public statement regarding the arrest or the allegations.

Meanwhile,

sources close to the UFC, cited by sports journalist Marcel Dorff, have confirmed that the organization has terminated Hasanzada’s contract. His spot on the April 26 fight card will reportedly be filled by Gage Young.

This incident has drawn widespread attention and concern from both the Afghanistan’s community and the international MMA scene. Legal experts suggest that, if convicted, Hasanzada could face a lengthy prison sentence under California’s strict child protection laws.
