| 11 injured, one killed in disturbance turned shooting in Myrtle Beach, |

| MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Nearly a dozen people were injured and one killed in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, during a weekend shooting involving an officer, according to police. Police said just before midnight Saturday, officers with the Myrtle Beach Police Department saw a disturbance involving multiple individuals in the 900 block of North Ocean Boulevard. Brite Shalom Acoya and her twin brother 5-year-old twins shot, one killed, in shootout at Greenville Co. apartment complex; 3 arrests made They said one person began shooting and, based on the immediate threat, an officer fired his gun. They said 11 others were injured but police did not give any details on those injuries. The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is investigating the case, which is standard when an officer fires a weapon. |
