China is exhibiting ‘end-of-regime conduct,' expert warns of ‘perplexing' behavior |

![]() Something is "very, very wrong" in Beijing right now, according to foreign policy expert Gordon Chang, who is signaling more "end-of-regime conduct" coming out of Xi Jinping’s China. "At a time when China needs friends because it's not selling goods to the U.S., it is going out of its way to antagonize not just the Philippines, not just Taiwan, but also South Korea and Australia," Chang, a senior fellow with the Gatestone Institute, said on "Mornings with Maria" Monday. "This shows that... this is end-of-regime conduct, because Xi Jinping, he can't appear to be giving in to the U.S.," he added. On Friday, President Donald Trump told reporters from the White House lawn that he’s spoken to Jinping "many times" now, before responding to a question about what exactly the two leaders discussed: "I’ll let you know at the appropriate time. Let's see if we can make a deal." Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said Friday that Beijing backs international rules when it comes to tariffs imposed by Trump and that the U.S. levies show "extreme egoism." He explained that China would look for solidarity with other countries regarding the tariffs, noting that Beijing would uphold multilateralism to "inject stability into the world." Beijing has publicly denied any ongoing negotiations with the Trump administration to bring down America’s 145% tariff and China’s 125% tariff. "[Jinping] has configured the Chinese political system so that it is hostile. And also, because he's been making the claim that China has surpassed the U.S., he can't look dependent on trade with the U.S.," Chang explained. "And he certainly can't look like he's talking to the U.S. under pressure." #5 Except that we saw videos of them ruthlessly seal up apartment buildings in the early weeks, with tales of no food deliveries thereafter. If that was true, many must have died of deprivation in the early days, despite never falling significantly ill. |

#4 I think a lot of the thinking about large scale deaths from covid in China are probably misinformed; remember, a lot of the deaths in the US were self inflicted: remdesivir, rationing of antibiotics, and secondary infections probably accounted for more than half the deaths attributed to covid here. All China had to do to not get a lot of deaths was treat it like viral pneumonia was treated in the west in 2018. |

#3 Interesting bits of information. Something to keep an eye on. What if Fauci was simply "following orders?" Thanks Rich and Mosso. |

#2 I'm reading reports from folks who do population counts all over the world. They are saying that, based on multiple known data factors within China, the current Chinese population might only be 900M (or even less) instead of the 1.4B the CCP publishes. Number caskets and burial plots purchased over the last 5 years, number of active cellphones, rapid decline in personal taxes received, etc. They lost a lot more folks during covid than they're letting on, young people aren't having children AND the one-child policies really bit them hard. |

#1 Youtube "Empty Chinese Cities" - something is way off over there. I heard that Red China was over reliant on homes sales (one home per person) as a metric for measuring their demographic unrealizing people were creating fake paperwork to buy homes. Then when covid hit, the deaths per proportion to society were much greater than on paper leaving China with a whole lot less people than they thought. IDK the truth, but empty cities and villages are eerie - that's a fact, and there's lots of video of them mostly empty. Anyways.. I'm hearing that Hardline Commies are maneuvering against Xi and putting him on defense to protect his circle of power and influence. I also heard an interesting fact that less than 1000 Party Members control China's manufacturing and export base. |
