[Korrespondent] The Ukrainian Armed Forces are engaged in heavy fighting in the east and south of Ukraine.
Half of all attacks were carried out by Russians in the Pokrovsky direction. Currently, 12 combat clashes are ongoing there.
Since the beginning of the current day, 75 combat clashes have occurred on the front. The largest number of battles were recorded in the Pokrovsky, Limansky and Kramatorsk directions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in an operational report on Tuesday, April 29.
Thus, in the Kharkov direction, the Russian attack in the Kamyanka area was stopped.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy carried out two assaults in the direction of Petropavlovka and Novaya Kruglyakovka.
In the Liman direction, the invaders attacked 10 times near the settlements of Lipovoe, Novoye, Novomikhaylovka, Mirnoye and Yampolivka. Five combat clashes are still ongoing.
In the Seversky direction, an attack near Verkhnekamyansky was repelled.
In the Kramatorsk direction, six attempts by the occupiers to advance forward in the directions of Mayskoye, Predtechny, Belaya Gora and in the area of ​​Chasovy Yar have been stopped. Two more military clashes are still ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked once near Dachnoye.
In the Pokrovsky direction, the occupiers carried out 38 assaults in the areas of the settlements of Staraya Nikolaevka, Tarasovka, Shevchenko, Elizavetovka, Novotoretskoye, Lisovka, Uspenovka, Kotlyarovka, Troitskoye, Nadievka and Andreyevka. The defense forces stopped 22 attacks, 12 combat clashes are still ongoing.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the enemy attacked six times near Constantinople, Burlatskoye and in the direction of Odradnoye. One combat clash continues to this day.
In the Dnieper direction the enemy carried out one unsuccessful attack.
In the Kursk direction, our defenders repelled six attacks, and another military clash is still ongoing.
Let us recall that in the course of 24 hours on April 28, Russia lost more than 1,000 fighters killed and wounded. The total number of Russian losses is approaching 1 million people.
