Russian troops are most active in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlovsk directions, where a total of 72 military clashes occurred.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces are taking measures to disrupt the actions of the Russian army, inflicting losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment. In total, 101 combat clashes have occurred since the beginning of the day.

In the Kharkov direction, the enemy once tried to advance in the area of ​​Tikhyi. He carried out air strikes with guided bombs on the areas of Volchansk and Zakharovka.
The defense forces successfully stopped one attempt by the enemy to advance forward in the Kupyansk direction, towards Peschanoye; two combat clashes are still ongoing in the directions of Glushkovka and Novoosinove.
In the Liman direction, the enemy attacked 12 times in the areas of the settlements of Kopanki, Tverdokhlebovo, Kolodezi and in the direction of Zelenaya Dolina, Olgovka, Lipovoye, Redkodub. Currently, one combat clash is ongoing.
In the Seversky direction, since the beginning of the day, two military clashes have occurred in the directions of Grigoryevka and Verkhnekamenskoye. The defense forces successfully stopped both attempts by the occupiers to advance forward.
In the Kramatorsk direction, four combat clashes continue in the direction of Maiskoye, Belaya Gora and near Chasovy Yar. The Defense Forces successfully stopped one assault by the invaders.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked in the areas of Toretsk, Druzhba and in the direction of Dilievka, making seven attempts to improve their position. Four combat clashes are currently ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have made 42 attempts to displace our defenders from their positions in the directions of the settlements of Gnatovka, Mirolyubovka, Promin, Novosergeevka, Staraya Nikolaevka, Novaya Poltavka, Alekseyevka and in the areas of the settlements of Udachnoye, Elizavetovka, Lysovka, Shevchenko, Kotlyarovka, Troitskoye, Andreyevka, Bogdanovka. The defense forces are holding back the enemy onslaught and have repelled 32 enemy attacks.
Today, in the Novopavlovsk direction, enemy units attacked our troops' positions 30 times near the settlements of Konstantinopol, Rivnepol, Novopol, Novosyolka, Privolnoye and in the direction of the settlements of Zelenoye Pole, Shevchenko, Bogatyr, Troitskoye, and also carried out airstrikes on the areas of Novopol and Zelenoye Pole. Seven attacks are still ongoing.
The enemy also attacked our defenders' positions in the Vysokoye area in the Gulyai-Polye direction four times. One combat clash continues to this day. At the same time, it carried out air strikes on Gulyai-Polye.
Three combat clashes occurred in the Orekhovo direction. The enemy is trying to advance near Novoandreyevka, Pyatikhatki and Stepovoye. He carried out air strikes with guided bombs on the Orekhovo area.
The settlements of Veseloe, Berislav and Burgunka in the Dnieper direction were subjected to airstrikes by the enemy today.
In the Kursk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine attacks by the invaders. The enemy also carried out six airstrikes, dropping 12 guided bombs, and carried out 159 artillery shellings. Currently, fighting continues in three locations.
Earlier on Sunday, the General Staff confirmed the destruction of two Russian aircraft. In total, on May 3, the Russian army lost 1,340 servicemen killed and wounded and more than 380 units of various equipment on the front in Ukraine.
