[REGNUM] Units of the Russian Armed Forces (RF Armed Forces) have gone on the offensive along the entire front line.
According to Ukrainian sources, the past week saw the largest number of our offensive operations in 2025.
APPROACHING THE AZURE
Fierce fighting continues in Donbass, where Russian troops have reached the outskirts of the strategically important city of Pokrovsk. According to information from the field, during the offensive on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) south of the city, assault units managed to penetrate the enemy's defenses to a depth of two to three kilometers, and also liberate the settlement of Lysovka.
Later, the information about the liberation of the village was confirmed by the Russian Ministry of Defense: “As a result of decisive actions by units of the Center group of forces, the settlement of Lysovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic was liberated.”
Lysovka is located five kilometers from the southern outskirts of Pokrovsk. The settlement was turned into a powerful defensive hub, the fighting for which continued since September 2024. In mid-autumn, the Ukrainian Armed Forces deployed reserves in this area and launched a counteroffensive, occupying part of the village. Over the past week, fierce battles for every house have been going on in Lysovka. Ultimately, Ukrainian troops were forced to leave the village again.
However, the failures of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are not limited to this. Information about a breakthrough of their defenses south of Pokrovsk and the advance of Russian troops to the Lazurny microdistrict is being spread on social networks. The Russian Armed Forces managed to make a breach in the area of the village of Zverevo and the nearby Zverevsky pond and build on their success. In connection with this, messages appeared on the Internet about the beginning of military actions directly in the residential areas of Pokrovsk and the flight of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The situation on this section of the front is indeed not in favor of the Ukrainians, a frontline source noted in a commentary to IA Regnum. However, rumors about the imminent liberation of the city are, in his opinion, "premature."
"Our offensive south of Pokrovsk had some success. Now the front line has approached the settlement of Zelenovka, which is administratively part of this city. The village is closely adjacent to the Lazurny microdistrict. The enemy has not disappeared anywhere, and the city "tomorrow", as some say, will not be liberated. But our offensive continues," the source told IA Regnum.
Sources on both sides of the front agree that the Russian army's advance marks the beginning of military operations for Pokrovsk, the "impregnable fortress." In connection with this, Kyiv is sending reserves to this area, including units that previously occupied the border territories of the Kursk region.
Our aviation and artillery, in turn, are striking the E50 highway, which is used by the enemy to transport reinforcements to Pokrovsk from the territory of the Dnepropetrovsk region. At the same time, Russian troops continue their offensive south of Pokrovsk, liberating the territory of the DPR.
CROSS THE SOLNY STREAM
According to information from the field, during the offensive, Russian troops also occupied the village of Kotlyarovka, 25 kilometers southwest of Pokrovsk.
It is noteworthy that the village is located in close proximity to the border between the DPR and the Dnipropetrovsk region. To cross the border, it is necessary to overcome a distance of 2.5 kilometers, as well as force the Solyonoy stream - a tributary of the Solyanaya River. The enemy will most likely not be able to stop our offensive, since there are no large settlements on this section of the front around which it would be possible to build a defense.
Information about the advance of Russian troops was confirmed by the Ukrainian analytical portal DeepState. According to its analysts, Kotlyarovka came under the control of the Russian Armed Forces, which are located a few kilometers from the borders of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Fierce fighting continues south of Kotlyarovka along the Alekseyevka-Bogatyr-Otradnoye-Komar-Voskresenka line. Ukrainian sources report a sharp increase in the activity of Russian aviation. In some areas of the front, it is carrying out 10-15 strikes in a row. As a result of the strike, a FAB-1500 aerial bomb equipped with a planning and correction module hit the command post of the 46th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the village of Komar.
Such activity in the air indicates the absence of a well-established enemy air defense system in the southern Donetsk direction.
Russian troops are using their air superiority to achieve success on the ground while minimizing their losses, a source told IA Regnum. The enemy's weakened units on the front lines are not receiving reinforcements and are losing ground.
"What is especially important is that aviation operates not only along the line of contact, but also along the enemy's operational rear. Both roads, along which reinforcements can be transferred to the Bogatyr-Komar area from the territory of the Dnipropetrovsk region, are under constant surveillance. The equipment being transferred is destroyed before it reaches the front. So in this area, the initiative is on our side," the source added.
It is also reported that the Russian army has begun an offensive to the south, in the area of the city of Velyka Novosyolka. Combat operations continue in the area of the settlements of Volnoye Pole, Zelenoe Pole, Novosyolka and Novopyle. Ukrainian troops state that the situation in this area is not in their favor.
“The situation became more complicated after the enemy (Russian Armed Forces – Ed.) was able to cross the Voronaya River and gain a foothold along the highway near Zelenoe Pole, as well as occupy several forest belts east of Novodarovka,” the Ukrainians from Deep State state.
The offensive along the entire front line puts Kyiv before a difficult choice - which direction to send reinforcements to and which to sacrifice.
ATTACK FAILURE
At the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are continuing their senseless attempts to cross the border and invade the territory of the Kursk region instead of sending reserves to the collapsing sections of the front.
According to information from the field, Ukrainian troops have made a series of attempts to cross the border in the Glushkovsky district. Clashes are reported in the area of the settlements of Tyotkino and Ryzhevka. The enemy has removed part of its own minefields to open the way for its armored vehicles, losing several engineering vehicles in the process of demining.
In a number of directions, he managed to temporarily advance several hundred meters deep into Russian territory, but then he was forced to retreat. It is noted that limited Ukrainian forces were involved in the operation, including troops that retreated from the Sudzha area with losses. This predetermined the failure of the new attack.
Aviation is actively involved in repelling offensive operations, destroying armored vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the border zone, and also striking deployment points and bridges in the Sumy region.
After several days of fighting, the enemy was unable to achieve any significant success in this area.
It can be stated that Kyiv's latest attempt to occupy some new areas of Russian land has failed. Ukrainian troops in the border area have suffered heavy losses, and in Donbass they are surrendering one settlement after another.
In a futile attempt at media success, Kyiv is exchanging its few reserves for lost territories.
