The enemy did not officially accept it, but in fact the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the front received orders to cease fire.
De facto, it is being carried out in much the same way as the previous "Easter truce".
In some areas of the front, everything has practically died down, in others the shelling has continued, but its intensity has decreased, and in some places the fighting has not stopped, like the same Tetkino area and the border of the Kursk and Sumy regions.
In the next 24 hours it will become clear how long this situation will last in the following days, since the desire to somehow screw up May 9 is inescapable among the Kiev Nazis.
I would not expect a complete ceasefire, rather there will be a regime - we fight here, we don't fight there, and after May 10 everything will continue as usual.

Ukrainian Armed Forces Militants Renew Attacks in Kursk Border Region – 1169th Day of the SVO
The enemy does not abandon attempts to capture the border areas of the Kursk region. The enemy's logistics routes in the Tyotkinsky and Glushkov directions are strewn with destroyed equipment and corpses of occupiers, the Telegram channel of the "North" group of forces reported on May 8.

On April 26, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces General Valery Gerasimov reported to Supreme Commander-in-Chief Vladimir Putin that Kursk Oblast had been completely liberated from the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF). He specified that during the entire period of military operations, the UAF had lost over 76,000 people there.

Russian Ministry of Defense says the Ukrainian Armed Forces violated the ceasefire 488 times
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have not ceased hostilities despite Russia's declaration of a ceasefire. This was reported on May 8 by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
Since the beginning of the day, 488 ceasefire violations have been recorded by the Ukrainian army.
"Along the entire line of combat contact, Ukrainian units carried out 173 attacks from barrel artillery, tanks and mortars on positions of our troops, as well as 4 using multiple launch rocket systems. In addition, 300 strikes and ammunition drops from unmanned aerial vehicles were carried out. A total of 488 ceasefire violations were recorded," the statement said.
The military department reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces made two attempts to break through the state border in the Kursk region, as well as an attack in the Dzerzhinsk area in the DPR. Kiev's destructive actions confirm its desire to prevent a peaceful settlement of the conflict, the Defense Ministry emphasized.
Russian troops have completely ceased hostilities and are strictly observing the ceasefire, while responding in kind to violations by Kiev, the department added.
