In the Pokrovsky direction, the Russians managed to organize more than 40 assaults in the areas of 12 populated areas.
Since the beginning of the day, 117 combat clashes have occurred on the front. Russian troops are trying to advance in 10 directions on the first day of the so-called "truce". Thus, two attacks by aggressors have been stopped in the Kharkov direction . Another armed clash is currently ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy made three assaults near Sinkovka, Stepova Novoselovka and Novaya Kruglyakovka. The battle is currently ongoing.
In the Liman direction, the invaders attacked 17 times near the settlements of Nadiya, Novoegorovka, Ridkodub, Grekovka, Novomikhaylovka, Kolodtsy, Zelenaya Dolina and Torskoye. Two clashes are still ongoing.
In the Seversky direction, two assaults were repelled in the area of ​​Belogorovka and Fedorovka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled four attempts by the occupiers to advance forward in the areas of Chasovy Yar and Kurdyumovka.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked five times in the areas of Krymskoye and Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsky direction, the Russians organized 41 assaults in the areas of the settlements of Alexandropol, Elizavetovka, Grodovka, Mirolyubovka, Dachenskoye, Zvirovoye, Kotlin, Udachnoye, Novoaleksandrovka, Kotlyarovka, Preobrazhenka and Andreyevka. The defense forces repelled 32 attacks, nine clashes are still ongoing.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the enemy attacked 19 times near the settlements of Rozliv, Novosyolka, Novopol, Privolnoye and Burlatskoye. Three clashes are ongoing.
In the Orekhov direction, our defenders repelled three enemy assaults in the Stepovoye and Shcherbaki areas.
In the Dnieper direction, the enemy made two unsuccessful attempts to advance forward.
In the Kursk direction, our defenders repelled seven Russian attacks.
Let us recall that at midnight on May 8, Russia declared a three-day ceasefire with Ukraine. However, during the night, the enemy intensified air strikes using guided bombs in Sumy Oblast.
