| Bronze soldier traditionally drowns in flowers |

| [Delphi.ee (Russian language version)] As last year, at the foot of the Bronze Soldier in the Military Cemetery, the inhabitants of Tallinn began to carry flowers the day before, by the evening of May 9 there were many times more of them. During the day, police were on duty near the monument. Law enforcement officers made sure that no offenses occurred. The Police Department emphasized that no one prevented the laying of flowers, as the police did not prohibit remembering the dead. But the use of symbols such as the George ribbons is prohibited. |
