Reports of widespread, heavy north Gaza strikes as tanks push forward in Beit Lahiya
The Saudi Al-Hadath news channel reports that 28 people in the northern Gaza Strip were killed, citing an unnamed medical source. According to the network, tanks advanced in the area of Beit Lahiya. Residents in central Israel reported hearing loud blasts overnight, possibly due to the strikes. | |

#10 Update for DayGlo: The Gazans are crowded into 30% of the Gaza Strip. Hamas has lost control of, or is fighting for, the remaining 70%. And I’m sure you’re right about Qatar — credit where due. |

#9 "Wars are about imposing your will upon your enemy." Escalatory violence is the tool you use to impose your will. But when that fails. You should fight wars like you fight cancer in which you want it removed from the planet. |

#8 Hamas has sacrificed zero money; Hamas has sacrificed zero land; Hamas leadership resides safe and secure in Qatar. The billions Hamas spent to create hundreds of miles of war tunnels, wasted. The tens or hundreds of millions Hamas spent on war matériel, wasted. The small safe zones where Gazans now live crowded together, while the rest of Gaza is bulldozed and patrolled by the IDF — along Gaza’s borders , the military zones cutting Gaza in thirds and cutting them off from the border with Egypt. The claimed 52,000 dead Gazans, 70% of whom are fighting age males, including almost all of those involved in leading the 10/7 massacre. Yes, the leaders are living in luxury in Turkey and wherever in the Arabian peninsula they’ve parked themselves with their vast wealth stolen from funds donated to improve the situation in Gaza. And those leaders never cared about the people they pretend are theirs, whose suffering they engineered from the beginning as a weapon against Israel, just as the PLO/PA did before them, and the Arab nations and too much of the world before that. But that expat situation could also be thought of as premature exile — and also a happy hunting ground for Mossad, as has been noticed from time to time. |

#7 Wars are about imposing your will upon your enemy. Maybe for you. For us it's about surviving. Mind you, my dear prussian scholar, not many of our enemies are still around. |

#6 /\ No, Hamas is not winning. They are simply hoping to surrender to the Americans. |

#5 Wars are about imposing your will upon your enemy. Right now, Hamas has imposed its will on Israel and the rest of the wotld much more than Israel has. Right now, Hamas has sacrificed zero money; Hamas has sacrificed zero land; Hamas leadership resides safe and secure in Qatar. I don't think they'd be delusional to conclude, therefore, that they're winning. Time will tell. |

#4 #2 From their p.o.v., they are winning -- at the U.N., in Spain, in Norway, in Ireland, in France, in England, at UCLA Columbia Harvard etc Winning nada. These who have a pathological hatred of Jews (and, usually, of humanity in general) are merely more open about it. Now, lets see them rebuilding without uncle Sugar. |

#3 They’re delusional, DayGlo. But let them think they’re winning, so long as the jihadis keep dying and their buildings, tunnels, and war matériel continue to be destroyed. Either they’ll figure it out, or the entire Gaza strip will be rubble 20 meters deep. |

#2 They have calculated that they achieve the most by getting attacked. From their p.o.v., they are winning -- at the U.N., in Spain, in Norway, in Ireland, in France, in England, at UCLA Columbia Harvard etc It is a remarkable , fascinating new form of warfare. Impossible without social media and influencers and bought-and-paid-for newsmedia. Fascinating. If their leadership believed that they were losing this war, they'd release those whom they kidnapped. |
