In the Pokrovsk direction, the invading units attempted to break through the Ukrainian defenses 39 times.
There were 119 combat clashes on the front, and the Russian army lost 341 soldiers in attempts to break through the Ukrainian Armed Forces' defenses in the Pokrovsk direction. This was reported by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the evening of May 29.
It is noted that today the occupiers carried out one missile and 58 air strikes, using one missile and 113 KAB. In addition, the Russians used 1,113 kamikaze drones to destroy and carried out 4,236 attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas.
According to the General Staff, in the Kharkov direction our troops stopped four enemy attacks near Staritsa and Volchansk, and two more attacks are ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy carried out three attacks on the positions of our defenders in the Novaya Kruglyakovka area. Ukrainian defenders stopped two enemy attacks, and another clash is still ongoing.
In the Liman direction, during the day, Russian invaders attacked Ukrainian positions seven times near the settlements of Lipovoe, Grekovka and Ridkodub. Three more clashes remain unfinished so far.
In the Seversky direction, our defenders repelled four enemy attacks towards Grigoryevka.
Five combat clashes have been recorded in the Kramatorsk direction at present. The invader tried to advance in the directions of Predtechnoye, Belaya Gora, Stupochki and in the Kurdyumovka area.
In the Toretsk direction, the Russians attacked the positions of the Defense Forces four times. The occupiers concentrated their main offensive efforts near Druzhba and Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsky direction, the invading units tried to break through our defenses 39 times in the areas of the settlements of Zarya, Popov Yar, Malinovka, Mirolyubovka, Elizavetovka, Lisovka, Kotlin, Novosergeevka, Udachnoye, Troitskoye and Andreyevka. Five combat clashes are still ongoing.
Today, Ukrainian soldiers have neutralized 341 occupiers in this direction, 182 of them irrevocably. Also, 14 cars, 11 motorcycles, two mortars, three Shahed UAVs and two shelters for personnel were destroyed. In addition, a tank, two cars and a BM-21 multiple launch rocket system of the enemy were damaged.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the enemy attacked 21 times near the settlements of Konstantinopol, Bogatyr, Zelenoe Pole, Novopol, Volnoe Pole and Novodarovka. Our defenders successfully stopped 19 attacks, two clashes are still ongoing.
The aggressor attacked twice in the Orekhov direction; battles took place near Stepovoye.
In the Dnieper direction the enemy carried out one offensive action, but had no success.
In the Kursk direction, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 11 attacks by Russian invaders within 24 hours; ten clashes are still ongoing.
In other areas the situation has not undergone any significant changes.
Let us recall that from February 24, 2022 to May 29, 2025, the total combat losses of Russian troops on the territory of Ukraine amounted to approximately 984,940 people (+1050 per day).
