[IsraelTimes] Police detained two foreign activists who entered a closed military zone in the southern West Bank on Saturday, a police spokesman says. Both are slated for deportation in the coming days. The women were arrested in the South Hebron Hills after officers received a complaint from the security coordinator for Maon, a West Bank settlement in the area. Police investigators discovered that one of the women detained has a reputation abroad as an anti-Israel activist. Any connection to the one expelled for the same thing in mid-May? After being brought to a hearing before the Population and Immigration Authority, the two women were ordered deported from the country. While one of the activists accepted the ruling, the other is petitioning to overturn her deportation. Until the appeal hearing is held, both women will remain in custody at Givon Prison in central Israel, police say.
