[Regnum] To destabilize the situation in the CIS countries, the leaders of international terrorists are using people from Central Asia fighting on the side of Ukraine. This was reported on June 10 by the head of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia, Alexander Bortnikov.
“In order to destabilize the situation in the Commonwealth countries, the leaders of the MTO are using people from Central Asian countries who are taking part in military operations on the side of the Kiev regime,” says Bortnikov’s statement, which was read out by the head of the operational information and international relations service of the Russian FSB, Alexei Komkov, at a meeting of the CIS anti-terrorist structures.
The greeting also states that Western countries are using psychological operations units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to incite interethnic conflicts in the CIS.
In his address, Bortnikov noted that last year, security forces of the CIS countries prevented 550 terrorist and extremist crimes, identified over 5.5 thousand terrorists, extremists and mercenaries. At the same time, over 1.5 thousand persons of this category were brought to criminal responsibility.
On February 27, Russian President Vladimir Putin reported that the number of terrorist crimes in Russia has increased and most of them are planned by Ukrainian special services. In this regard, the Russian leader called on the FSB, under the coordination of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee (NAC), to use available forces and means as effectively as possible and pay special attention to preventive measures, increasing the anti-terrorist protection of military and industrial facilities, life support systems, public facilities, as well as energy and transport infrastructure.
As reported by the Regnum news agency, over the past year, 2024, 190 terrorist attacks were prevented in Russia, six of which were prepared by members of the “Maniacs Cult of Killers” and “Columbine” movements (both are terrorist organizations banned in the Russian Federation) in educational institutions and places of mass gatherings.

FSB shows arrest of Russian preparing terrorist attack in Krasnodar region
[Regnum] On June 10, the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia published a video of the detention and interrogation of a Russian who, on the instructions of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), was preparing a terrorist attack in the Krasnodar Territory.
These videos show FSB officers detaining a man and handcuffing him.
During interrogation, the detainee said that in January 2025, an SBU officer contacted him through one of the messengers, who called himself Vladislav, after which the man began to receive tasks from him and remuneration for completing them.
“At the end of March 2025, he sent me photographs and coordinates of the location of a cache containing explosives that I was supposed to pick up to remotely detonate an energy infrastructure facility in the city of Novorossiysk,” he said.
As reported by the Regnum news agency, earlier on June 10, the FSB detained a Russian who was preparing a terrorist attack in Kuban on orders from the SBU. It was noted that the man was also collecting data on the location of Black Sea Fleet ships for the Kiev regime.
On the morning of May 9, FSB officers detained a local resident in the Svatovsky district of the Luhansk People's Republic who was transmitting information about the location of Russian troops to the SBU. A criminal case was opened against the detainee under Article 276 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Espionage").
