[Regnum] The Southern District Military Court sentenced Mariupol resident Natalia Andronova (an individual included in the Russian Federation list of terrorists and extremists) to six years in prison for public calls for terrorism and extremism. This was reported on June 14 by the press service of the FSB Directorate for the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).
“FSB investigators established that the woman had repeatedly published calls for violence and terrorist activity against a group of people identified on the basis of their nationality on social networks,” the statement said.
The convicted woman was detained in November last year. She was charged under Part 2 of Article 205.2 ("Public calls for terrorist activity, public justification of terrorism or propaganda of terrorism") and Part 2 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public calls for extremist activity").
The woman will serve her sentence in a general regime penal colony. In addition to the prison term, the convicted woman was banned from administering websites on the Internet for three years.
