"About 60 surface-to-surface missiles and dozens of drones were launched overnight. They were fired directly from Iranian and Yemeni territory towards cities and towns in the Israeli rear," Defrin said.
He added that since the start of hostilities, Israeli troops have attacked over 720 military installations and hit more than 170 targets.
