Trump says US has bombed Fordo nuclear plant in attack on Iran UPDATE: Trump bombs 3 nuke sites | ||||||
2025-06-22 | ||||||
I don't know what with, as I am not sure the bombers could have gotten there yet... I guess we'll find out the details later. [BBC] US strikes Iran nuclear sites, Trump says published at 18:58
"We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran air space," he wrote on Truth Social. Trump added that a "full payload of bombs" were dropped on Fordo and all planes were on their way back to the US. Anyway, here's the list they had on the side of the main article:

#33 Some of the leaking is the Dems; there are also several Republicans surely that should not be briefed on sensitive stuff. Ultimately, the leaks come from staffers. They are unseen like kabuki. You would have a tough time convincing me that Nancy Pelosi is making brilliant stock trades in her doused and senile condition. She likely has delegated communication to her broken to someone. Her staffers are likely unusually rich. Congress needs to be briefed on these types of things, but using the military as little as possible is advisable. |

#32 From Clarice Feldman: @MarinaMedvin CNN reports that top Democrats on intelligence committees were not briefed on the strikes, while Republicans were. So that explains why there were no leaks. |

#31 Not a peep from the Biden Politburo all that time. I have to revise my opinion of them, both for the conception and their part of the execution. |

#30 A couple of interesting things from NN2N1’s Jfeed: UPDATE: US Conducts Largest B-2 Bomber Deployment Ever, Strikes Iran’s Nuclear Sites With Over 125 Aircraft US Air Force General Dan Caine confirmed that Sunday’s airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities marked the largest operational deployment of B-2 bombers in US history. The mission involved more than 125 military aircraft targeting Iran’s key sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. Approximately 75 precision-guided weapons, including 14 Massive Ordnance Penetrators (MOPs), were employed. Initial assessments show extreme damage and widespread destruction at all three facilities. The strikes began around 2:10 a.m. local time and concluded with Tomahawk cruise missile launches from US naval forces. The US maintained complete surprise, with Iran’s air defenses unable to detect the operation. US Air Force General Dan Caine: Hundreds Of Assets Remain Airborne Over Iran American Air Force General Dan Caine stated that numerous military assets remain airborne, with hundreds currently deployed as part of ongoing operations targeting Iran. The sustained aerial presence underscores continued military readiness and strategic pressure in the region. The US is not done yet Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth: Plan To Attack Iran’s Nuclear Sites Took Months To Prepare Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth stated that the operation targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities was months in the making. The preparation involved extensive planning and coordination to ensure the strikes’ effectiveness. Reports say training commenced a year ago under Biden. |

#27 People will expect that Trump has ditched plans for negotiations. In reality, this will be part of Trump’s negotiation strategy. It’s step one. The Iranian strategy was to filibuster until they had detonated a nuke. I don’t think that strategy is workable short of buying one. Trump’s 2 weeks still is in effect. I don’t think he wants a failed state like Libya or even Mexico after the Mexican-American War. He will seek to negotiate for an outcome that is stable. |

#26 We been at war with Iran since 1979. It's been low to mid level with Iranian operations conducted against us in Iraq. |

#25 Amazing. Israel is able to overrule even Trump. Tulsi lied to the whole world when she said Iran was nowhere near a bomb. This is worse than the Iraq lies that led us to war. |

#24 /\ In light of what's taking place in Ukraine, it will be interesting to see how Vlad reacts. Will also be interesting to see how our feckless Euro 'friends' respond. |

#23 I'd say the pucker factor is way up in Moscow, Beijing, and other assorted capitals this morning. His words carry far more clout than before. He's now in their decision-action loop inducing unpredictability. |

#22 ^Given how their minds work, they'd assumed that is Mossad desinfo to get them to take centrifuges from the bunker. |

#21 #21 Also heard that yesterday the US alerted Iran that this WAS going to happen (for humanitarian reasons supposedly, and NOT to watch as to who and what scrambled where). Already, leaks of the Iranian Guard having moved the centrifuges prior to the attacks. That would be a lot of disconnecting and packing in a VERY short period of time. Bekins Van Lines would not have been much help. Posted by: Mullah Richard 2025-06-22 06:23 Keep in mind too, that those things are not something you push up on the dolly and wheel into the truck - they're precision machines that have to be handled with extreme delicacy. Not likely a bunch of panicked guys looking over their shoulders for the IAF were doing it by the book. Mike |

#19 Another scenario heard, Bombers left Missouri, contacted LA ATC to appear to be heading west, turned off transponders and turned around and headed east. Who in the public would know (they ARE stealth DYK)? Even FlightRadar's app would have a problem. LA to Fordow would have been a ~20-hour flight at 560mph (roughly 8,000 flight miles). |

#15 What will Iran's 5th column be bringing to the USA in the coming days, weeks, and months? How soon, before amazingly well funded Liberal Socialists and Democrats (aka Anti-USA mindless minion protestors), move to waving Iranian flags instead of Hamas or Mexican flags? |

#14 “Isreal Braces for Iranian Retaliation” – someone mentions, but that doesn’t seem likely at this point. There was a hit in Ramat Aviv: two buildings completely (except for bomb shelters) destroyed. The building where my son (he's in army now) inherited an apartment from his late mother been damaged (the renters: young couple with 2 year old girl are OK. Thank G*d.). |

#13 Trump Does Nation-Building (Often This Has a Negative Connation) in a Maga Sort of Way FoxNews will be covering this story throughout the night, and for several days. Skidmark says at 9pm that B-2 stealth bombers move toward Guam, comment #2 from this same article. This is part of an elaborate deception scheme by the Administration, one of many, before and after this story leaked to the press. Incidently, someone mentions, it would take 30 hours to fly from Guam to the strike zone, with tankers. “Isreal Braces for Iranian Retaliation” – someone mentions, but that doesn’t seem likely at this point. FoxNews has lots of guest experts on with the talent. Rabbi Chaim Mentz was on at 11:12 pm MT. He generally shows up in a panel of three experts in Judiasm, Isreal and world politcs and events. They’re together in LA with the talent. Rabbi: It’s a great thing for the entire planet. Religious political leaders either want to save their county or get to heaven, “Every Jew I kill gets me to a safer place in heaven.” Shiela Nazarian: It’s a Hail Mary. Rabbi: Regime Change. In getting to heaven, they’re not playing with the same deck of cards, i.e., the core values that Americans have. |

#11 Iran asks for emergency meeting of U.N. Security Council over U.S. strikes Imagine America did not just veto the UNSC meeting, how does Iran think it would go? They would take a vote, and because of course the majority would agree with Iran, the American veto would somehow not work? |

#10 ^But they want nukes soooo much! |
Posted by: Grom the Affective 2025-06-22 02:43 |
#9 I don't get where this belief Trump wanted to nuke them is coming from. There's no need or reason to use Nukes for this. Airspace was already dominated, AA virtually non existent so there's no pressure for nuke use. The only way I see Trump nuking someone is they nuke us first or some kind of massive attack with super high death toll. |

#6 Six MOPs. I figured we'd use 10 or so but that was based on the original version. Glad it's done. Good job Air Force. |

#5 Whew! One existential situation dealt with. Now Israel needs only worry about more ballistic missiles and drones, while the rest of the world needs only worry about Hezbollah sleeper cells and IRGC networks that entered the country any time after 9/11 or thereabouts. |

#2 Apparently the six B-2s heading west to Guam were a feint. Three or four others that were untracked delivered the strike (there on Fordow, some are saying another on Natanz). Sub launched cruise missiles apparently went to Natanz and Esfahan. |
