[Korrespondent] The Ukrainian Armed Forces are engaged in heavy fighting in the east and south of Ukraine.
The Pokrovskoe direction remains the hottest. There, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have already repelled 26 attacks near 11 populated areas.
Since the beginning of the current day, 72 combat clashes have occurred on the front. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in an operational report on Wednesday, June 25.
Thus, four out of five Russian attacks have been repelled in the Severo-Slobodskoye (Sumy region) and Kursk directions. The battle is currently ongoing.
In the South Slobodskoy direction, the enemy attacked three times near Vovchansk and Liptsy and received a worthy rebuff.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy advanced three times in the areas of Golubovka, Stepova Novoselovka and Novaya Kruglyakovka. One battle continues.
In the Liman direction, the invading army attacked 11 times near the settlements of Grekovka, Kopanki, Nadezhda, Ridkodub, Kolodtsy, Zelenaya Dolina and Torskoye. The defense forces successfully stopped eight assaults, the remaining battles continue.
In the Seversky direction, the enemy tried to advance in the Verkhnekamyansky area.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russians attacked five times in the direction of Stupochki and Belaya Gora.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked four times in the area of ​​Toretsk, Nelipovka and in the direction of Aleksandro-Kalinovo. There is currently one combat clash.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the occupiers carried out 31 attacks near the settlements of Poltavka, Mirnoye, Koptevo, Mirolyubovka, Lisovka, Zvirovo, Udachnoye, Novosergeevka, Novomikolaevka, Gorekhovoe and Alekseyevka. The defense forces repelled twenty-six attacks, five clashes are still ongoing.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the enemy stormed six times near the settlements of Zaporozhye, Volnoye Pole and Shevchenko. One battle is still ongoing.
In the Gulyai-Polye direction, the enemy once attempted to advance on the positions of our troops in the Malinovka area.
In the Orekhov direction, the aggressor made one attempt to advance towards Novoandreyevka.
Earlier on Wednesday, the General Staff confirmed the loss of two villages in Donetsk region. The enemy occupied Andreevka and Constantinople, and also advanced near Alekseevka, Dneproenergia and Shevchenko.
