[Korrespondent] The Ukrainian Armed Forces are engaged in heavy fighting in the east and south of Ukraine.
The enemy concentrated its main efforts on the Pokrovsk direction. There, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled more than 20 attacks in the areas of 13 settlements.
Since the beginning of the current day, 79 combat clashes have occurred on the front. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in an operational report on Thursday, June 26.
Thus, eight out of 14 Russian attacks have been repelled in the Severo-Slobodskoy and Kursk directions. Fighting is currently ongoing.
In the South Slobodskoy direction, the enemy attacked five times in the areas of the settlements of Glubokoe, Zybine, Kamyanka, Kindrashivka, Mala Shapkovka. Our soldiers gave a worthy rebuff.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked our troops' positions four times in the areas of Golubovka, Stepova Novoselovka and Zelenyi Gai. One battle is still ongoing.
In the Liman direction, the invading army attacked 11 times near the settlements of Grekovka, Novy Mir, Ridkodub, and in the directions of Olgovka, Kolodyazev, Zelenaya Dolina, Torskogo. Two combat clashes are still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attacked twice in the direction of Markovo and Belaya Gora.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked five times, in the areas of Yablunovka and Rusiny Yar. Currently, one combat clash is underway.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the occupiers carried out 26 assaults in the areas of the settlements of Poltavka, Malinovka, Shevchenko Pershoye, Mirnoye, Mirolyubovka, Promen, Lisovka, Mirnograd, Novosergiyevka, Udachnoye, Alekseyevka, Novoukrainka and in the direction of Vladimirivka. The defense forces repelled 21 attacks, five more clashes are ongoing.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the enemy attacked eight times near the settlements of Zvezda, Yalta, Zaporozhye, Bogatyr, Fyodorovka and Otradnoye. Two combat clashes are still ongoing.
In the Dnieper direction the enemy attacked unsuccessfully four times.
