The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information on the Russian invasion of Ukraine as of 16:00 on Saturday, June 28.
Since the beginning of the day, 71 combat clashes have been recorded along the entire front line. Russian troops continue shelling border settlements. Miropolskoye, Pokrovka, Ulanovo, Slavgorod, Petrushevka, Studenok, Girki, Bratenitsa and Kucherovka (Sumy region) have come under fire.
Directions of military operations:
Severo-Slobodzhansky and Kursky: 6 armed clashes (1 ongoing), 6 airstrikes, 11 KAB, 202 shellings, including 6 from MLRS.
Yuzhno-Slobodzhansky: 6 attacks in the areas of Vovchansk and Stroyevka, 2 battles continue. Air strike on Vilkhovatka.
Kupyansky: 4 assaults near Golubovka, Stepnaya Novosyolka and Zelenyi Gai, 2 battles continue.
Limansky: 10 attacks, the enemy is active in the areas of Nadiya, Ridkodub, Torsky and others. Two battles are ongoing.
Seversky: 5 assaults near Grigoryevka - all repelled.
Kramatorsky: 2 attacks in the direction of Belaya Gora were repelled.
Toretsky: 4 attacks in the areas of Kurdyumovka, Toretsk, Leonidovka, Yablunovka; 1 battle continues.
Pokrovsky: The enemy has made 29 attacks - fighting continues at three points.
Novopavlovsky: 4 attacks have been repelled, 2 clashes continue.
Gulyai-Polye and Orekhov: Airstrikes on Zheleznodorozhny, Belogorye, Kamenskoye and Orekhov.
Pridneprovsky: No fighting was recorded.
The defense forces are holding their positions and continue to contain the enemy's advance, the General Staff emphasizes.
Let us recall that yesterday it became known that the Ukrainian military attacked the Russian airfield Marinovka. They managed to destroy two Su-34 aircraft and damage two more.
