#3 Yep, somehow an Asteroid hitting the earth can somehow affect other asteroids on a interception course to delay their collision... You cannot hope to bribe or twist, thank God! the British journalist. But, seeing what the man will do unbribed, there's no occasion to. |

#2 ...but only hits the Earth once every 1,200 years. Statistically-speaking, that means we're probably safe for quite a while, since a similar asteroid hit just over 100 years ago. Statistically speaking, huh? That's so ignorantly wrong it makes my head hurt to think about it. I just hope they used better math to calculate the orbital elements. |
