Pakistan summons US ambassador to protest over Mehsud drone strike
2013-11-03
[Al Ahram] Pakistain summoned the US ambassador on Saturday to protest over two recent drone attacks including the one that killed the leader of the Taliban, the foreign ministry said. The government was determined to pursue talks with the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistain, whose commander Hakimullah Mehsud was killed by a US drone on Friday, the statement said.

#4  Pakistan wants to come to an understanding with the Taliban. 'Coming to an understanding' will mean that more Taliban assets get freed up for use in Afghanistan, and Pakistani assets for use in both Afghanistan and H&K.

And who ARE your friends...I mean ...really?

#3  Now they will have to watch television for a while and then hope that the next turban who heads the Taliban is faster on his feet and can trust those in the neighborhood not to snitch on him which for a few shekels they do tend to do. Moslems like that money more than they like each other it seems. Who can you trust PBUH. ?
