Taliban militants suffer heavy casualties in Logar operations

[KhaamaPress] The Afghan forces inflicted heavy casualties on Talibs during an operation in central Pashtun-infested Logar province.

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) in a statement said Friday that the operation was conducted in Mohammad Agha district of the province.

The statement further added that the Afghan forces targeted the Lions of Islam in Aab Paran Village of the district.

According to Interior Ministry, the security forces killed 18 Talibs during the operation and maimed 4 more.

The security forces security forces also seized three Ak-47 rifles, 17 munition magazines, 440 ammunition, military uniforms and some other military kits.
