| #11 The article didn't say the victims were tourists, I would think any malfeasance to destroy tourism would aim for drinks tourists are more likely to drink. |

| #9 Sorry NoMo, how is that a bad thing? Ending slave like catering to a foreign elite class rather than indigenous development for all. Look at the huge cost of food tampering prevention measures we have absorbed. I don't think they can do it. |

So, consider this, since consolidating their hold on Venezuela, the Russian/Cuban intel services see opportunity for both mayhem and infiltration throughout central America. With the aid of willing partners in Nicaragua, might the poisoning of tourists in the DR and now in CR be ways to destabilize economies deeply dependent on foreign (US) tourism and investment in tourism infrastructure. The already see the massive impact of Honduran, Guatemalan and El Salvadoran migration from poverty and fear, add more stressors to the Central American exodus and create whirlwinds of all kinds for the main enemy...all for the cost of a few gallons of antifreeze and an agent provocateur or two! |

Then y’all get to be ever so noble people of colour, with lower SAT score cutoffs and generous set asides, on the assumption that you can’t possibly compete with people of the exact same skin tone. |
